I'm Sarah Pike: a Mother, Wife, Farmer, Designer and Artist. I live in Marshall NC with my husband, Matt, of 10 years and our son Jasper.
We are at the very beginning of realizing our homesteading dream. I learned a lot while urban farming in Charlotte, NC. Now I am trying to wrangle a 40 acre piece of land. It is thrilling and terrifying at the same time.
We share our property with our parents and also a cousin and his wife. It is an exciting journey as we build new homes and learn more about our borrowed piece of Earth.
The garden is my church and my school. I strive to grow in peace.
